On May 22, Cheng Chenguang, General Manager of Windey, led a team to visit Hubei Cornex New Energy Co., Ltd. for inspection and exchange, and held a symposium with Dai Deming, Chairman of Cornex New Energy, and Huang Feng, President of Cornex New Energy. The two parties reached multiple cooperation consensuses on topics such as battery cell technology R&D, industrial chain collaborative innovation, and global market expansion.

Dai Deming stated that Windey, as a leading global new energy equipment manufacturer, the deep compatibility between its smart energy storage systems and Cornex’s battery cells has become a model of industry collaborative innovation. In the future, Cornex New Energy will seize this exchange opportunity to jointly explore the domestic and overseas energy storage markets with Windey. They will also carry out joint research and development around high-safety, long-life, and low-cost battery cell technologies, co-develop more competitive energy storage solutions, and provide more competitive battery cell products and services.

Cheng Chenguang visited the intelligent battery cell production line, R&D and testing center, and energy storage product display area of Cornex New Energy, and gained detailed understanding of their technical achievements in battery material R&D, production process optimization, and quality control. He pointed out that as the installed capacity of new energy grows rapidly, the importance of energy storage systems in energy transformation is increasingly prominent. As the core component of energy storage systems, the performance and cost of battery cells directly affect the large-scale development of the industry. Windey will further deepen the comprehensive cooperation with Cornex New Energy in the field of battery cells, from technology R&D to market application, to jointly build a “technology + manufacturing + application” full-chain ecosystem.

This exchange has further consolidated the strategic partnership between the two parties. The two parties agreed to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism in areas such as technology R&D, capacity coordination, standard setting, and market expansion, to jointly address industry challenges and drive the energy storage industry towards higher safety and economic viability.
